The Executive Committee (EC) is the steering body of NCC. The EC is responsible for providing leadership and policy direction for NCC, reviews and updates annually the organization’s strategic plan and Nevada Cancer Plan, and evaluates progress towards its goals. The EC establishes Committees as needed to accomplish the work of NCC, approves and coordinates Committee plans, and gives guidance to Committees. View our Governing By-Laws.

Cari joined NCC as its first Executive Director and staff in September, 2011.  For more than 19 years, she has built and lead organizations and coalitions focused on protecting and improving the health of Nevadans.  Cari received her MBA from University of Nevada, Reno.

NCC is a 501(c)(3) through Community Health Alliance Tax ID #88-0293149 as fiscal sponsor for the organization. NCC is funding though Nevada State Comprehensive Cancer Control Program Grant Number 5U58DP000804-04. Additional public grants, private grants and donations also support the work of NCC.
