UsTOO is a grass roots organization started in 1990 by prostate cancer survivors to serve prostate cancer survivors, their spouses/partners and families. They are a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit charitable organization dedicated to communicating timely and reliable information enabling informed choices regarding detection and treatment of prostate cancer. Ultimately, UsTOO strives to enhance the quality of life for all those affected by prostate cancer.

The Pahrump support group is hosted at Desert View Hospital.

UV Lens is a free app that helps users plan out the best time to be outside based on the UV forecast for the day. The app uses your location services to determine your location and provides you information on UV exposure levels throughout a 12-hour period. Users can take a brief skin type assessment to get more tailored information including sunburn risk and recommendations for sun protection based on current UV forecast. Available for Apple, Google and Windows products.

Volunteers in Medicine of Southern Nevada (VMSN) is a non-profit health organization providing medical care and support at no cost to the uninsured and underserved residents of Clark County. The clinic provides preventive and wellness health care as well as treatment of acute and chronic illness. Services include colorectal, breast and cervical cancer screenings, medication assistance, diagnostic testing, and health education and classes.

Home Delivered Meals, also known as Meals on Wheels, provides meals to homebound seniors who are at high nutritional risk.

Home Delivered Meals, also known as Meals on Wheels, provides meals to homebound seniors who are at high nutritional risk. Eligible clients receive up to seven home delivered meals per week including one hot meal on delivery day and up to six frozen meals. Participants must be 60 years of age or older, homebound due to illness, disability or geographic isolation, and unable to attend a congregate meal site. The program enrollment process can take up to six weeks, and all clients will be visited by a Washoe County Senior Services program staff to be certified regarding need for the service.

Developed in part with the American Cancer Society, WhatNext uses patent pending matching algorithms to connect people to highly relevant peers, firsthand experiences and American Cancer Society resources.

Additionally, WhatNext gives people a way to share experiences with their illnesses using an easy to use timeline format. As a result, when people share their experiences they are catalogued and easy to find by others.

Users on the site can meet others with a similar diagnosis or in the same area, ask questions, share a story, and more. The site is for fighters, survivors, and caregivers.

Each of Nevada's Community Health Nursing clinics offers a variety of services including nursing services to residents of all ages and incomes.  The community health nurses provide services in 13 locations throughout the state.  Each clinic provides services at a low cost or using a sliding scale dependent upon income.  Services are not denied due to inability to pay.  The clinics also accept private insurance, Medicaid and Medicare. Services include cancer screening for breast, cervical, colorectal and testicular cancers, immunizations including for the HPV vaccine, as well as counseling and education on a variety of health topics.

The Women's Cancer Center Foundation For Research is dedicated to advancing the treatment and prevention of cancer. Grants fund researchers of gynecological cancers and increased educational materials for primary care physicians and patients. Programs include Cash for Chemotherapy, providing financial assistance to underinsured or uninsured patients who need assistance with chemotherapy treatments for gynecological cancer.
