The American Cancer Society is a volunteer-based, community health service organization dedicated to eliminating cancer. The Las Vegas office supports cancer survivors throughout Southern Nevada, including Las Vegas, Henderson, Boulder City, Pahrump, and Laughlin. Support services include: Wig Boutique & Resource Center at the Las Vegas office; Transportation assistance through the Road To Recovery program; Lodging assistance through Hotel Partners Program & Hope Lodge; Breast Cancer support through the Reach To Recovery program; our Cancer Survivors Network; and our 24/7 National Cancer Information Center (NCIC) at 1-800-ACS-2345.

Our Wig Boutique & Resource Center is open 9:00 am – 12:00 pm, Tue – Thurs, by appointment. Women can receive a consultation and 1 complimentary wig while also collecting informational resources and gift items, if available. Call 702-891-9009 to book your appointment today.

The Road To Recovery® program provides free rides to cancer patients to and from cancer-related medical appointments. Trained volunteer drivers donate their time and the use of their personal vehicle to help patients get to the treatments they need. To ensure that every patient who needed a ride got one, the American Cancer Society partnered with Dr. Paul Lanfranchi of The Lanfranchi Center to create the TLC Lift For Life program, which pays for transportation when a volunteer is not available. The Road To Recovery®/TLC Lift For Life program ensures that no cancer patient be forced to miss their treatment appointments because they cannot drive themselves or secure a ride.

The American Cancer Society Hope Lodge® program provides free overnight lodging to cancer patients, and an accompanying caregiver, who have to travel away from home for treatment. We also partner with local hotels across the country to provide free or reduced-rate rooms for cancer patients, and accompanying caregivers, traveling for treatment. Access to both the Hope Lodge® and Hotel Partners program is based on eligibility. Call the local office for details.

The American Cancer Society Reach To Recovery® program matches people facing or living with breast cancer with trained breast cancer survivors who had a similar diagnosis or treatment plan. Our volunteers offer patients and their families the opportunity to ask questions, talk about their fears and concerns, and express their feelings.

The American Cancer Society provides support online through the Cancer Survivors Network, a free online community created by and for people living with cancer and their families. You can get and give support, connect with others, find resources, and tell your own story through personal expressions like music and art. Visit csn.cancer.org to access this resource.

Trained cancer information specialists are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to answer questions about cancer, including information on diagnosis and treatment, and to link callers with resources in their communities and nationwide. Our website offers the latest information and news on all types of cancers and helps you find resources, programs, and services in your area and online. Call 1-800-227-2345 or visit www.cancer.org
