Seeking Dynamic Clinical Professional for Contract Project
12 December, 2016
Our Clinical Liaison project is ready to go -- as soon as we bring on someone to fill the shoes!
Cancer control stakeholders from across Nevada have identified a need for direct and hands-on assistance in identifying missed opportunities, implementing evidence-based systems changes, and improving standards of practice at the provider level in primary care clinics. As such, this project will pilot a clinic liaison to perform on-site clinic assessments of existing practices, and identify and recommend systems changes to improve cancer prevention and early detection activities. Additionally, the liaison will offer screening and early detection education and training to staff to enhance the knowledge base and ensure a consistent message and practices across the clinic’s team. This is a 6-month contract beginning January 1 through June 30, 2017. The project could continue if additional funding is secured.
