The 2015 Nevada Cancer Control Summit brings together expert speakers from throughout Nevada and the nation to discuss the latest topics in cancer control. Our next installment in the Summit Speaker Series highlights Eileen Colen, presenting “Health Information Technology.”
Eileen Colen is the Health Information Technology (HIT) Manager at HealthInsight, assisting Nevada providers to improve the timeliness, quality and coordination of patient care through technology and health information exchange (HIE). Colen graduated from California State University with a Bachelor degree in Economics and completed her Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) in 2010. She has consulted with more than 150 providers to successfully meet and attest for the Meaningful Use Criteria and is involved with operations of the HealtHIE Nevada HIE. She oversees the education and training unit along with the sales/recruitment and account management unit and supports the Quality Improvement Organization goals.
