National Lung Cancer Screening Day

Please join the lung cancer community for National Lung Cancer Screening Day on Saturday, November 12, 2022. The National Lung Cancer Roundtable (NLCRT), established by the American Cancer Society, the American College of Radiology (ACR), the GO2 Foundation for Lung Cancer, and the Radiology Healthy Equity Coalition (RHEC) have come together to promote this life-saving event and raise awareness about lung cancer screening. 

To participate, lung cancer screening centers nationwide are being encouraged to open their doors to patients on Saturday, November 12, 2022. This will allow individuals who cannot take time off from work to be screened, increasing the accessibility of lung cancer screening overall. Through the promotion of National Lung Cancer Screening Day, screening centers are not only extending screening opportunities to those who may be unaware of this effective, lifesaving screening option, they are also increasing awareness of lung cancer screening within their community.
