Advisory Council on Palliative Care and Quality of Life in collaboration with the Project ECHO Nevada  invites you to attend the Virtual Palliative Care Awareness & Education Day Conference and Symposium. This virtual session is designed for physicians, nurses, advanced practice nurses, pharmacists, physician assistants, social workers, fellows, residents, spiritual counselors, or other members of the healthcare team interesting in acquiring, maintaining, and/or expanding the skills needed to effectively apply palliative care to improve outcomes and quality of life for patients.  

Palliative Care Awareness & Education Day Agenda 

  • 9:00AM: Advanced Care Planning 
  • 10:00AM: Developmental Considerations for Children During Stressful Times 
  • 11:00AM: Palliative Care and Hospice for Our Veterans 
  • 12:00PM: Moral Distress and the Ethical Skills Needed to Address Them 
  • 1:00PM: Nevada POLST
