With the help of ThriveNV and the Nevada Cancer Coalition, CHA has been able to stay up to date on patient resources, whether it's cancer prevention or cancer treatment this Coalition knows it all. Throughout the years, we have collaborated on cancer prevention projects and patient navigation. I am always amazed by the entire staff and their extensive knowledge of community resources. Staff is always available and eager to help. The majority of our patients within CHA are Hispanic/Latino, knowing little to no English. Patient navigation can be tough for this population when language becomes a barrier. Recently, ThriveNV added two new team members who are bilingual and are able to help our Nevada Latino community by reducing that language barrier. This new staff has been incredible to work with, I feel confident directing patients to ThriveNV knowing they will be taken care of by the absolute best.
